Ray Robinson joined Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in 2010 starting their Southwestern Ontario Office. This brokerage specializes in the sale and lease of commercial properties throughout Southwestern Ontario with their office based in Guelph.
Prior to Avison Young Ray Robinson joined Royal LePage in 1984 and has since that time become one of the top commercial people in North America and the #1 salesperson in the Toronto suburban offices. He was given the title of Vice-President, Industrial Division in recognition of his high level of achievement over the past 26 years.
During that period he has been involved in the sale or lease of 14.2 MILLION SQUARE FEET and 2,636 acres of land. The value of these transactions exceeds 663 MILLION DOLLARS.
Prior to joining Royal LePage, Mr Robinson successfully owned and operated a heating and air conditioning company in the Kitchener/Waterloo - Guelph area for 17 years. He is a past President of The Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada. From 1982 to 1984 Ray was Chairman of the Canadian Environmental Exposition which is the largest plumbing and heating show in Canada. He has served on many committees and organizations, always rising to the chair and is very active in many charity organizations.

The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors is an elite organization that gives full membership only to individuals and not companies. Admission requires at least 7 years’ experience with a high level of performance, the taking and passing of an advanced industrial real estate course, acceptance by an Admission Committee who consider all the previous aspects as well as proven business ethics. In May of 1993 Ray Robinson was accepted into this prestigious worldwide organization. There are S.I.O.R. members in all industrialized countries in the world. They consist of brokers, developers and industry people.
